Extension of Due Dates for compliances under the GST Laws due to Lockdown

The government has notified waiving of late fee for filing GSTR-3B returns for February, March, April and May 2020 for those with aggregate turnover:

Ø More than rupees 5 crores in the preceding financial year, late fee is waived if GSTR-3B returns for February, March and April 2020 are filed by June 24 2020 and for May 2020 by June 27 2020.

Ø Turnover Rs 1.5 crore to Rs 5 crore, will have to file February and March 2020 GSTR-3B returns by June 29 2020, and April 2020 GSTR-3B by June 30, 2020.

Ø Up to Rs 1.5 crore, GSTR-3B for February 2020 will have to filed by June 30 2020, for March by July 3 2020, for April by July 6 2020.

Due to of filling of GSTR3B for the Month of May 2020 taxpayer having aggregate turnover upto Rs.5.00 Crores

On or before the 12th day of July, 2020:
Whose principal place of business is in the States of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, the Union territories of Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Puducherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands or Lakshadweep

On or before the 14th day of July, 2020:
Whose principal place of business is in the States of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Assam, West Bengal, Jharkhand or Odisha, the Union territories of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Chandigarh or Delhi.
